Fished Blyth beach last night, along with dozens of others, during the Whitley night comp - complete waste of time with almost no fish caught: I think there was 1 codling and a few whiting. Only managed 2 myself for 1lb - 1oz. so wouldn't bother with Blyth at the moment!
