24 hoursa

24hrs - take a couple of gallons of Red Bull or Coffee to keep you awake! :D

I'd go with 2 rods, always my usual choice, mix of live and frozen, probably take a spinning rod aswell to occupy some time.

small hooks will be call of the day I think as not much about...

...unless there's a bit of surf running and you may strike lucky with Bass...either way I personally wouldn't be going any bigger than 1/0 max, but would prob be fishing with size 2s or 4s on 1 up 1 down rigs or even 3 hook flappers

good luck!

Agree with Tony, there's been nowt of size so prob 2 hook small rigs will work. You'll certainly get coalies on daylights/spinners over the side of the pier, be flatties kicking around, but nothing size unless you're lucky.

if its not for a month or so why not fish for macky with spinning rod and keep a few for bait to use on other rod, alough with not much chance of catching a decent fish i think you would get abit board/tierd fishing for 24 hours

what about a 12 hour session? start the night before at dusk (9pmish) and then you could look to get yourself on the pier for first light?

24 hours is ower long for this time of year like...

start on the pier, end if you can, come in close to shore before dawn or go to sluice or blyth beach if high tide is just after first light, spin/plug on a light rod while baiting onother - close in......

take crab, rag and a bit of lug, by then you'll be able to catch some fresh mackerel,

if you wanna stay in blyth

start at pier
you could start couple hrs before dusk fishin with bait and spinnin while waiting for bites on ur bait rod, plaice, codlin, coalies, flounder, dab, whiting, eels even chance of a doggy

could check out gullies etc on beach and once you get bored on pier move along beach trying various features uv found at low water etc

then back to pier for dawn for more mackerel and more bait out in the light for the plaice

good luck
