All this recent talk of Century TT's on the forum has awakened the Tackle-Tart in me.... I need a rod for clean and heavyish ground, so how much does a decent 2nd hand Tip Tornado go for?
Being an old tackle tart meself i have had a tip tornado belting rods they are as all century rods are but dont forget its not the rod that finds the fish it is the angler good bait and a bit of knowledge is better than any realy expensive rod i use a raptor and can honestly say that i have only locked it up properly on a few occasions although a xudnt part with it for owt defo recomend the tip tornado tho m8 ,the point im trying to make is dont spend thousands on rods it doesnt make u a better caster or angler m8
But the rod i purchased recently (komp s) is allowing me to hit distances that i couldnt with my shakespeare salt.....this must be an advantage on occassions

Yep that was the rod I used to have before I swapped it and it came into the hands of 'topbanana'.
I found it such an easy rod to cast, gives good distances with all types of casting styles, though the Century TTR Big Danny I swapped the rod for is even better .
