fished friday at claxheugh at the upriver end. caught 6 flounders and a coalie one of the flounders was a belter just a tad under 2lb all fish bar 1 caught on fresh crab the other on runnydown (the flounders are now taking runnydown as well as crab but with the small tides the crabs were on the munch stripping the runnydown before the flounders got a chance)
fished claxheugh again saturday morning beside the steps got 10 flounders mainly on fresh crab but a couple on runnydown. nothing big most fish either just under or just over 1lb. the otter made an appearance as well that was nice to see.
fished seaham pier last night around the 36 mark ended up with 8 whitings a 2lb cod and a doggy. got the cod on fresh crab the rest on macky strip. thought there would have been a lot more whitings caught, was expecting to bag up on them.
