Fished with MickE, Barney and The Great Wallsendo last night. Sea was pretty big and weed was a problem for the first few hours. As low approached the wind died, the rain stopped and the fish came out to play. I managed 3 in 3 casts and a couple of missed bites. MickE managed 2 including H/F at 4lb 2oz. Barney also managed to winkle one out. Tony unfortunately blanked, despite his best efforts.

Was a good night with good craic and a few fish.

Good report mate I nearly came down but ended up at Easington. Exactly the same there wind, rain and weed all eased as tide turned. Started to get a few knocks wound in got snagged snapped rod. I love fishing me. See you tonight mate.
