50 shades of blue

was on the cliffs at horden looking out at the sea. there are different shades of water some looks like oily/or even like a path or channel . there were no clouds in sky just wondering if anyone knows what causes this?

probs tide line and tide rips and currents rock formations and sandy bottoms

Tides, currents, gusts of wind, oil.... loads of reasons mate Maybe it was a load of sharks like on Jaws? lol

Was there any shipping around at the time,if so could have a Leakey oil cooler which inturn mixes with the overboard discharge.could also be Leakey stern tube or blade seals,hope this helps.

Heading down in a few hours, am sure it's sand gullies at horden, so darker water with more depths
