525 magnets

hi got a mag 525 the other month and it was running to fast even with mags on full any thing other than a gentle lob resulted in a nest opened it up this morning and only one magnet in anyone know where i can get some magnets from fast local tackle shops or anyone got some they want to sell

Hi are you sure there gone as really they've got nowhere to go.they normally hide underneath the mag carrier if they come loose.

rutherfords tackle he will have some,some lads take them out to make the reel run faster like the old break blocks if you cant get hold of some magnets get some thicker oil mate

ive heard that engine oil will slow it down so ive got the bearigs soaking in lighter fluid and will try that . thanks to gerryberry ive got some magnets sorted fat cod has your number and will pick up on saturday

yea it will but really need at least 2 magnets in i keep them all in what do you need a 525 running fast lol there for pulling in not hitting the horizon lol
