Fished Middleton hartlepool tonight from.5 onwards started of slow and wet :-S was think about a move but the whiteies showed up for abit of sport so stuck it out had a few whiteies around the 2lb mark so was happy then then 30mins later bang fish on :-D the normal head nodding umm this is not whitie couple mins late a nice 4lb codling was presented to me nice fished on had one more about 1lb and boat load of decend whiteies bait used lug rag blueys and squid all in all a good night out

Yea it's always a bonus when u are wet lol but it was a weird night cos buy 8.35 ish it had stopped and warm right up was strange

Nice one Bill,

I fished the rocks between the heugh and pilot last night with dad. Had planned going on the heugh itself but it was rammed as usual. Lost 7 leads between us but took 4 lovely whiting home threw several more back and also took a 4lb cod + a 2 lb cod, dad losing anther cod right at his feet 2-3lb.
Good fun as bites all night long every cast, but expect to lose a lot of leads as this ground is VERY rough. Bait used razor, squid, oiled lug.

Yea ave fished there before seems to be a few good fish about at the moment ave got a comp on 11 Jan and underside were to fish :-S lol
