at least you tried!

The sea looks flat as a fart in that last pic!!

Shame the forecasters got it so wrong. An early trip out would have been worth it. I noticed the wind building a bit this afternoon though.

Yer i was so glad i was only 2miles out, had a job getting back in to be honest with white tops and waves building all the time, when getting clsoe to the pier 7 waves crashed over the roof of the boat it was building that much.

Fitting a solar pannel Friday morning and a digi fuel gauge since the weather is poop and cant make it out until Sunday now.

sounds like this boat lark involves a lot of hard work??

been having a peek on ebay and there looks like some canny boats on there for a couple of grand. Could be tempted lol?

but then i would have to get a new car too as my car is rated to tow zero, and living 25 miles away from the coast it might take a while to tow there!

I was told it is all money and yep it is, spent over £1200 on bits n bobs for the boat since it was lifted into the water.

Back to work on Tue so fishing will be reduced to Fridays and weekends
