Thats the first time I've ever saw 8ft+ waves in the tyne, with double that swirling on top. Quite impressive to look at but not to be situated in. As for fishing had three chucks and got one coddling struggling to make 30cm(returned live and healthy), then packed up as didn't want to be blown out of mouth of tyne. Good luck to westoe lads in morning, and lads in steve's match in afternoon.

Where were you fishing john? Steves match was moved to the small beach due to the wind, i caught sod all as usual but the lad that won got £100 for a 45cm codling, there wasnt much else but there was a couple of plaice caught, nice and fat aswell.
