Went for a macky sesh early today on SSP, what a mess .beer cans &bottles all over bags of rubbish. all manner of food left overs+wrappers ,burnt out tent on the end, in all A TOTAL _HIT HOLE .took 5 macky home.

what a shame, probably one of the best convenient marks to fish in the north east gone to ruin. heard there's no bins now and also a rumour that there's no watchmen either.
terrible.
At least you got a few fish though so nice one.

Blyth pier. Last Monday 15 macs Wednesday nothing Thursday 4 Friday 1 Saturday morning 5 Sunday evening nothing. And yes somebody had a disposable barbecue. On a wooden pier!!!! And just left it.

No rumour, g.ordon. Sacked the Watchman, installed CCTV, (that isn't often monitored) and got rid of the bins, bcause there's nobody left to empty them. Combine that with Mackerel Season, and every drunken Chav hoying their rubbish around while they're "fishing". Nobody's happy, or surprised with the resultant sh*t-tip, but no apparent recourse or appeal.

I thought a couple of them where a bit quick to shut gates at times but at least they kept the place tidy and kept a bit of order.
