I\'ve now got a few names to consider (mind you I wasn\'t expecting Rolex or Armani to be mentioned......lol)

Tich, a 4 1/2 ft spinning rod, eh......lol - mind you, have you seen those tiny boat rods? (don\'t know what make they are), but they\'re only about 2ft long (if that!).

A while ago, Ian S had a photo of him using one posted in the \"Boat Fishing\" forum.

fishy1,thats the rod ! abu atlantic 403 zoom,i have had a couple since the early 70s and i have picked a few up on e bay,class rod,a little heavier than todays spinning rods but i prefer them !

i just use my quantum salmon steel head rod which i use for my pike fishing which comes with a hefty price and then i use my small lure multiplyer, excellent at the first gate when the mackeral are in, great fight and fun :exclam:
