The strange thing was that only the first wreck produced.
from the first drop we caught fish there...shads, bait...whatever we lowered down. only downside was that we also lost a lot of tackle in that very snaggy wreck.
I was very keen to go further offshore @7-8 miles ...i had this inspiration it would be even better there! . wrong inspiration...
two wrecks at 7-8 miles produced exactly nothing, not a sniff....and they were class wrecks (Zeeland and Hogarth)
so back to the first wreck at 4 miles and bangbangbang...fish after fish.
explanations.... maybe clarity...maybe seals on those wrecks...
have to add and brag: two 15 pounders in a morning fishing has not happened to me before....what a result.
and they did not photograph well...looking rather small on the photos...i weighed them on shore with a digital scale
