A Day on the Solway Coast

Had a good days fishing on the Solway Coast Yesterday with Spongebob (Gary) and Davy Collins,
fish from the start with everyone catching Rays including a new PB for Myself of 11lb 2oz,
the usual Dogfish showed along with Dabs and a bonus Tub Gurnard for my Species Hunt ...

Thornies for Spongebob and Davy both firsts for them ..


no shortage of Dabs with triple shots on Mackerel

It wouldnt be the Solway without these's things showing up ..

Im certain it was a small Huss because of the coloration and Nasal flaps but there's plenty of chances to get one on future trips this year.
