Decided I'd give a rock mark just south of frenchies point a shot after work. Got down about 5, was getting a coley every chuck. Ended up with 9, only 4 size.

As soon as the dark hit I got a codling out at about 39cm, then a couple of chucks later I got one out at 3lb. Not a bad session after all, glad I stuck it out in the rain. All fish were taken on frozen crab.

What rig do you use off the rocks, and how far out were they biting...if you don't mind me asking.

It's my first winter fishing, and haven't had any cod yet; would like to fish for them along the leas.

Just a pulley mate. 2/0 sakuma manta pennel. It's all different around that area, on some marks the rough ground is closer in and some a bit further out.
