1. Where do Mackerel go after the summer?

2. Why do fish like Whiting never grow big like Cod?

3. Why are Cod prevalent on the east coast of England/Scotland, but almost non existent on the west coast?

3. What has Norway done to make that country such an amazing place to fish for huge Cod/Pollock/Halibut etc?

Any thoughts lads?

the maccy clear off to deep water....

At the start of the winter the maccy migrate to overwintering areas.. three are known around the UK, one in the northern North Sea along the Norwegian Deeps, another along the edge of the continental shelf in the western Celtic Sea and a third close to the south coast of Cornwall.

so you know where to go get em....:D
