She was reading this online guide to catching Mackral the other day, then kept asking ifwe could go out, and guess what she started catching them like nobodys business.

Ray ...you're soooo right ,she will catch a monster before his eyes ,I pity you ankle biter ,as my youngest son always beat me and laughed in my face .
Took my mam out last year for her first boat up St Marrys and she landed a 10lb 5oz cod within 40mins and my biggest was 5lb lol
If you fancie something abit difo try red gilling or casting lures about 30 yards off the South pier at the back, some nice rough ground there and sure be full of pollack, i tried it before for the kerd but its abit snaggy for bottom baits.
wor lass thinks cod are triangular shape with golden skin on one side, no bones in the middle and white on the other
(oh and they have no heads tails or fins)
