A first on the fly.

I fished the tidal pools on the Wear for Salmon and Seatrout this morning.
Normally i use the spinner and have had loads of Flounders with these.
Today i was using the fly and took this on a size 8 Black and orange shrimp pattern.
It took the fly a foot down in 5ft of water.

Nice one Dave mate, was down roker pier with my fly rod the other night in the hope of macky but none turned up, only seen 2 caught between 2.30am and 8.30am
