A Glasgow kiss!

Mark you are right it was a bit half hearted.

But again Newcastle in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons especially as it took the edge off a comprehensive victory which we have been short of for some time.

Never a dull moment for Newcastle supporters and I think Pardew will get hit hard for this especially because of his previous misdemeanours.

Yeah he has a bit of a thuggish history!

The bloke needs a good hiding. He's started on Martin o Neil when he was Sunderland manager. Then the abuse he gave peligrini not long ago now this. If you went on like that in a pub you'd get a kicking.

was only giving the guy a piece of his mind, well done the toon for away victory against a team which is about on par ability wise

If the likes of Pardew and other footballers are going to get deservedly banned for a headbutt then they might aswell make it a good headbutt rather than an attempted kiss :-)

I'm probably in the minority here but to me it's a lot of fuss about nowt.....just a bit of handbags really.
Just watching MOTD and to hear Hanson and Savage on you would have thought that he'd killed someone. Although he should not reacted like that Meyler did push him first.
just my two penneth worth like.

Regards Ian

that's from the club m8, the f a will hit him aswell,
had a player done that on the field of play, it'd be 50 or 60 grand fine and a 10 match ban.

until 2day a had a lot of respect for pardew,
a think club matter's behind the closed door's are having cracked affect's....!

It will be interesting to see if the FA take action against Meyler. As Ian mentioned earlier, Pardew was not the aggressor but I reckon he will be punished more severely. As a manager and more senior he should know better but I can only imagine his frustration with the way the NUFC is run.

Good luck to Sunderland tomorrow, safe travelling to any heading down.

Do not see what all the fuss is about to be honest. As said previously here the way that prat Savage was going on about you think he had bitten someone...
Was expecting a horror incident the way its been blown up, just do not get it.

Also players have done this before and had no ban, a few incidents spring to mind immediately.

Pards will get hit hard because thats football now, really frustrating. Not saying it is right what he did but not worth the silly punishment he is going to get

And I should add that on MOTD last night....the same programme that in my opinion massively overreacted to the Pardew/Meyler incident......I saw Charlie Adam deliberately stamp on the Arsenal player Giroud and there wasn't half as much furore over it but I thought it was a worse incident as not only was it deliberate but also premeditated.

Regards Ian.

Lot of fuss over nothing...

Few of the soft lads (both from the big city and the villagers down t'road) braying for him to be sacked

Not a chance...that fine is symbolic nothing more. Healthy place in the league and a healthy balance sheet - Pardew is going nowhere ;)
