A quiet morning at hebburn

Got down to Hebburn this morning around 8.30am it was a lovely spring morning, set up both rods one with a flattie rig the other with a single hook clip down only had rag worm but thought I might be in with a chance of some fish any way it turned out to be a very quiet session with only one fish finger size whitey to show for it which went straight back in,Caught on the single hook.
I met fishingmark who was also down there a very nice lad, nice to meet you mate its nice to put a face to the name.
I packed up about 11.30 a few more lads were on the grass bank by then not sure if they had much luck.

As I said in Bigfen's post, a few more turned up after you left but still no fish. I've got my bait for tomorrow, hope the pier is more productive.
No doubt I'll catch up with you again mate

Nice one lads at least you's were out trying, nothing much anywhere atm apart from small stuff, nowt at walkway today either. The bairns had a dab at high tide. A bloke next to them caught a dab same time just before I left, (I had to drop the lads phone off) that was about 2ish not sure if they've caught anything since.
