For all you guys that have had a rod built off stan parkin or fish fingers on this site you know how good he is. Ive had my last 3 blanks done by stan. And im over the moon. When people rave on about how good chris dance is and andy mews it amazes me why stans name isnt proudly prandished on every blank in the north of england. He is half the price of the top names and he invites you in his house makes you a cup of tea give u a breakaway buiscuit and is happy to let u experiment with a miriad of all the colours u can imagine and quite a few u would never dream of. He will do what ever you wish with no restrictions however his advice good, saved me from a few bad coices. and he even did samples for me to see my ideas in the flesh first before the big build. He uses jap rap and or whipping on spigot. Im very proud to have his name on my blanks.

Stan is a top class rod builder & a great lad.
Not sure about his fishing abilities. I think he needs lessons of his 2 sons :red::red:

Hello,
Above everything else he's a real good bloke is our Stan, he's always willing to help people too.

He's helped me out with loads of things especialy over the last few years....he even came to my mothers funeral a few weeks ago when the weather was terrible, walking from his house down to the Leam!!

He's got two cracking sons, Grant and James and they're a credit to him and Lynne.

I went to school with him so I'm a bit biased but I rate him as one of my true friends.
