yeah i use the viking's aswel for up north if i need a hook that will bend out. reasonbly priced aswel the big mouth hooks. i also use the salt water champions for smaller fish

can see where braid will have its advantages on certain marks.
i found when I had a cod on which was battling back to the kelp i tended not to rive as much. coz when i did i lost it.

its logical for people to advise a softer rod or set the drag, but by doing that the fish has ledged itself under a bolder, and thats it. 'fish lost'

i've used the big mouths for a while and never had one snap just straighten out, the extras are very strong tho

Same, the only problem ive found is the points turn over easyly but just keep on checking them and replace if it does.
