Me and Ed fish a pretty windy Roker Pier, there was a decent bit movement on the water so went in to the Bunker,I had one cast but it was too lumpy for me in there so I move on to the front to fish the main channel the wind was wild and the wind chill must have been in the minus`s,first cast good pull down and landed a nice Codling of 5lb 14oz,A good start maybe we were in for a decent session, well thats not what happened we managed a few whiting and a dab and that was it,crabs stripped the baits all day, still non of these 2lb whiting that everyone on Roker catches apart from me .. l did manage to get one out at 1lb 10oz 44cm ..

Hello Paul,i was using a Century Tip Tornado Match, for around the £100 mark you could pick up a second hand TT if you keep your eyes open, the wind was a pain but the thin blank of the TTM helps ....
