Fished mill dam today from 3pm to 7pm to be honest I had the worst time ever went with me dad and arrived to find one man just setting up we set up casted sat back and relaxed. Then a lad on here came about 30 mins after about 3.30pm then he casted out on our right and he kept getting crossed by the first lad so he decided to move and first cast on our left 1-2 lbs codlin sized as well could tell the crabs where out no bait every time we brought it up even with elastic on hit high tide 6pm still nothing another lad arrived just before about 5pm he brings a coaly up and were still left with nothing about 6.30pm dad pulls a pounder up plaice hits seven packed up and left by 7.20 I blanked gutted on the result but can't always get what you want if it was my world I could lol but yeah everyone else there caught something and I didn't better luck next time bait we used was fresh rag, frozen blacks and muscle.

And yeah there was a lad I was speaking to next to us and he's the one that caught th codlin and he said he was on this site can't remember his name if you see this add me acheers mate hade a decent chat to him hope we can do it again sometime canny to speak to It was amazing he literaly just casted out and reeled in and there was one there if you see this let me know what happened after we left cheers pal

Will send you a friend request pal wasn't much biting well apart from the crabs lol that bloke that was casting over us what a dip he had a few crabs must have kept them for the wife lol and a few whitening and your little codlin and me dads plaice did that lad further down from you catch much?

Its a hit n miss mark mill dam mate, fished there many times myself and either hud sum fish or nothin. it has its days but i only really fishes welll in the summer for flounders.

P.S. that flatty ya dad had was probably a flounder
