Before 1981 3.2 mm shaft or later 3.0 mm shaft otherwise interchangeable.
The "high speed" version 5.3 :1 has yet another profile with a 3 mm shaft.
I have a couple of 3.2's and possibly a "normal" 3.0 mm.

Alan - can you get the end of spool spindle checked with a micrometer or vernier ? to confirm if it is a 3.0 or 3.2. I would hate to possibly supply you with one that didn't fit !
