i bought an abu 7200 quite a few years ago now but havnt been able to use it cos whilst out on a trip the level wind stoped working an on the dismantling the reel discovered of course the cog for the level wind had stripped being plastic i was just wundering is possible replace it with a metal one if yes were would i get one

The 7200 was a "step" on the way to the 7500 and had the higher 5.3:1 retrieve and a gold spool otherwise the mechanicals, for you the level wind, are the same as for a standard 7000.
BTW if the cog is stripped it often means the small pawl in the level wind is worn and gets stuck on one side and this strips the nylon cog as you cast.
Should be easy to get a the plastic one and the old metal one will also fit BUT they are retained by an "E" clip on the stub shaft and later models did not have this grooved milled in so check before going for metal.
