my 525 done the same thing yesterday. i was affraid to try fix it my self but done it in the end the little slider that makes it engage in to free spool was jammed i just wiped abit grease off and oiled it up.

but rutherfords should fix it for you, has all the abu spares for abus well he had the conversion kit to take the levelwind off my mates 7000 was £15 for the bottom bar and the 2 studs to cover the top bar hole was spot on

fixed now mate pinion gear was knacked
