Guys

Where the hell you meant to get down to rocks to get on Whitley pipe .. Everywhere access is seems miles away !! ( especially at low water ) .
Been down today at low water and finding a decent spot not too far from car is really difficult .

The quickest way is to walk down onto the promenade next to the pipe and there's an old set of stairs from the promenade down to the rocks, they're fenced off but its only waist high. Otherwise you can just follow the pipe itself round to near the beach and get off that way.

If the tide is coming back in you can't always use the stairs options and just have to walk the long way round

Ah I saw the fenced of stairs . Other way must be a long hike . watched for a while and saw nothing getting pulled in decided to move on , but really access /walks are bad at full low
Didnot bother as only spots accessible were full kelp etc and i was short on time

Marks on the Tyne would probably be better accessibility wise, fish quay being the easiest provided you get parked
There's a thread stickied for disabled access spots which will obviously have easier access than most
