advice on rod

went fishing at the weekend and snapped the tip off quite a clean break actually, its a shakespeare 13 ft salt rod is there anyway i can get it repaired or does anyone have a spare section that would fit as ts quite a thin piece too please help didnt know if its able to be repaired or is it confined to rotting in the garage?????

Have you got a picture mate, im got an old shakey rod in the loft not sure if its a salt. Stick a pic up and I'll compare tomorrow

Is it a 3 piece shakespeare 13ft 10" salt rod or 2 piece 13ft??

There around the £60-£70 mark brand new so your probs best off buying a new one or as said get a new tip section if the rod has sentimental value

How much snapped off the end mate? If its just a coupple of inches with no splintering just file it down and put a tip ring on The end, hey presto a new rock rod

Check this link out or anyone else who fancies one of these rods. I was looking at it myself for scratching about in the estuaries and shallow beaches.
