advice on worms

hi guys just wanting some advice ..i normally fish with two rods one at range with a clipped rig and another just lobbed out on a 3 hook flapper on size 1 hooks or smaller normally (aberdeens) sometimes when i get worms and they are massive i find it a bit wasteful to place 3 whole large worms on 3 hooks flappers for scratching ...just wondered. on occasions u get large worms would u use 3 large worms on a 3 hook flapper or would u cut the worms and tip with say maccy squid etc....i have some rather large worms for my next session ...and with the price of the buggers was just wondering ...

I never see the point in using while worms either i cut them up aswell the only time in the summer ill use full worms is when im on the boat fishing bait
