advice please lads

i fished the top end towards blyth at the weekend managed 2 flatties but the weather wasnt the best but i find its normally good there or down about halfway
normally park the car beside the toilet block and walk straight through the dunes and fish there

rock edges low water in collywell bay, hartley or west bay m8 with crab baits in the kelp, better if sea is flat at the mo.

as above really.

rocky island will be worth a shot if the sea is flat, that normally chucks up a few codling around this time of year, you will need crab as bait for best results. park your car next to the kings arms pub, head over the wee foot bridge that goes over the gut, down the path as you turn right over the bridge. once down on the grass, head towards the sea, down onto the flat rocks, you will see an old pipe that heads off towards blyth pier, you can chuck anywhere from the entrance of the gut all the way along the rock edge towards the end of the pipe, just be wary towards the end of the pipe as there is a big ledge close in, you need to bring your gear and any fish over that, vary your casting distance. the end of the pipe area isnt too bad for snags, the gut end is quite snaggy.
you can also fish the other side of the gut at HW, but it needs to be a smallish tide, the deck on that side is a rough bottom and kelp.

any of the skeers and outcrops in collywell bay could be worth a chuck as well. although i find that area better this time of year as the sea has just dropped off, been flat for a while now.

i have been down most days this week for a gander ;D
