thanks for advice forgot to mention i already have a penn 850 i think it is bought it about 4years ago when they first came out its the bigger of the 2 reels.really just after a spare reel and possibly better standard tight lines:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I've got the Penn Surfblaster 8000 mate, big conical spool with unreal line lay, it's casts like a dream and comes with a shallow depth braid spool too.

It's a step up from the surfmaster reels which are good (my dad has one) but well worth the extra money in mind.

You'll get one online for £80 delivered or look for a used one on eBay for £50-60

Probably the best fixed spool for under £100

Hope this helps
