i recently sold a reel to a buyer in Japan ,now the reel itself was 10/10 with a small rust mark on the reel seat ,all things considerd in good nick for a reel of 32 years old, problems is i failed to list the defect and the buyer aint non too happy, ive offerd the bloke a refund less postage upon return of the reel, but as hes japanese he wants a fight to the death in court no less ,to protect his honour i imagine, now as far as i can see ive acted within e-bay guidelines but any advice from you lads who deal alot would be welcome, ive put the matter in the hands of the square trade resolution dept and as yet have heard nowt ,having read through the guidelines im not sure he should even get a refund as hes took the reel to bits as a photograph shows that he sent me to show the rust mark
one thing for sure i wont be dealing overseas again
