hi alan, think u were saying ragworm tipped with macky was doing well for the dabs,had best success with lugworm myself but you should no fishing area a lot, do you find north end or south end best for the dabs as you no when i fish horden its usualy white rock canny btm there.also have u had much success on ebb tide for the dabs, alan yates was saying in sea angler mag a few years back cook in microwave lay dab on paper 1 minute each side few peas and some bread and butter i tried this and they were lovely to eat, would,nt mind a nice bag of plumb dabs regards john

john i have had more fish on rag n macky or rag n squid. The mark i fish is halfway along from the white rock to tommy's rock best way to it is from dene holme.

I have had them all states of the tide even had them over low water.

Found the best rig to be a two hook longflowing trace with size 2 hooks.

best one to date is 1lb 3oz but i have had loads around the 1lb mark.

hi allan , that is a new one for me tommys rock how far past white rock is that obviously heading north. fished white rock this morn high water to half ebb good tide run on whities every chuck just under size though used lug.

bigh, you are right a very good table fish the dab .
