wel i have a torium 14 reel and thinking about puting a mag on it as i think you wil be able to do this but not to sure, just after a bit more distance from some marks i fish if any 1 has done this some feed bk would be nice i wouldnt get a differnt reel very comfortable with this one?

A wouldn't do nowt to it me mate use lighter line with shockleader nd get anutha reel with 35 lb line On For rough ground lobbin

You were managing with my slosh ok. Pick one up around £40-50 then mag that or buy a 525 and no need to do the mags keep the torium for the rough stuff and get a distance reel with lighter line

I have 3 penn 525 mags with nobby mod. They are strong as f**k and light too, robust fr rocky crags and a fast retrieve.
I use daiwa tourny casting line 18 pund on, With a overhead cast will do 150 yd easy.Pendulum will do 200+
