I've just spent 3 hours rigging shads and muppets 
, now what would i have been doing if i didnt have a boat......watching a crap chick flick that our lass wanted to watch

Couple of weeks Norman, I'll be standing in the cockpit with the rod thumping away and all thoughts of wasted money will be banished !

Going to be a bumper year, i can feel it in my blood but maybe mid May before we see the rods all bent over each drift

haha yeah we need something to occupy our minds Ray, to banish these bad thoughts .....
On a lighter note , I remember last year ...... the one we all thought was red hot at the start ......

Pleased you put that link on Norm, i was a landlubber at that time after selling the boat 
....now i've had a busy weekend prepping things, collecting mussel etc, despite the lack of fishing time its still a hobby that can give you lots of enjoyment....something you dont appreciate until you dont have a boat.....
Off down the marina again now, to bring my reels home for a service.....thanks for the reminder Norm.....
