Airshow and catch report

Well set off at 9.30am and the sea was abit bumpy.

Stopped off at Souter after seeing birds diving and soon into mackerel 2-3 at a time every drop, filled the hold and moved down to Roker.

Dropped the anchor about 11ish and set 2 rods out over the side with bait and jigged with one.

Was a nice suprise to land 2 codling 3-4lb on pirk at anchor as well as 2 on bait and about 20 whiting and pouting.

Set off home and got to the lock about 5ish, must have been 12 boats in the lock it was manic.

Hoping the weather dont do what it says its going to do for Sunday as i am out for a full days wrecking.

You have have, counted over 60 boats out today in that area...the show was good and the red arrows came so close the pilot had blue eyes..

Seen Norman out and a few other boats i know from the mariner...out 8am but not looking good for a full day

Used 6 mackerel for bait and froze down about 22 and put a few of the smaller ones back.
