Alcan beach parking...PLEASE BEWARE

Fished the 'Alcan' beach at Lynemouth today for the first time for over a year. I parked the car where I normaly always used to park (alongside the service road to the power station entrance). However when I got out of the car I was informed by the getehouse man that I should park in the car park as I WAS LIKELY TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED AWAY BY THE POLICE IF I LEFT IT WHERE IT WAS ! (even though I was not parked on the road or causing any obstruction) To be honest I was more than happy enough to park my car in their car park as I felt it would always be safer anyway. In fact had I realised you can park your car there I would always have done so in the past.
If anyone fishes this mark regularly, please heed this warning about parking. Personaly I would have hoped the police would have had better things to do with their time rather than hastle 'soft' targets like motorists.....but I won't get into politics. All I want is for people to be informed. The car park is towards the gatehouse on the left (Contractors one). As for the fishing....one bass, one flounder and three rockling all returned. Fished one bait at distance and another rod closer in. All the fish were taken closer in.

Thanks for information on parking,going there over holidays so will note this warning.
Its never been a problem in the past as you say all we want is safe parking so we can get back and find the car in one piece.
Its my first time at Lynemouth this year but I hear its not fishing that well its normally my 2nd home but the change in the waste tipping seams to have shallowed the beach a lot.
Anyone got any good reports on fishing this mark !!.
PS...is this carpark open 24/7 ?
