me and laura fished there 1st time today 1 till 5 had a cracking day . it was a bit to hot at 1st but turned out ok i was using a ptn on the dropper and a daddy on the tip i had 4 fish on the daddy and one on the ptn .. they was fish rising all over . laura had 2 fish aswell and quite a few takes . its a very friendly fishery with a lodge for refreshments and a canny tackle shop .. Aldin is my favourite fishery at the moment like you say very friendly, great facilities, and I dont know if its just me but the fish nearly all seem to put a cracking fight up.
Was there myself on monday from about 5 and managed 3 in the last 4 hours and spent at least an hour hiding in the cafeteria from the torrential downpours!!!

Just thought I would mention that there is a "sonik" day at aldin on sunday the 31st, where you can try out the gear and they are having some comps on, probably just ruined my chances of getting anything by telling more people!!!

Back again on wednesday evening, got there late so only fished for 3 hours, 2 hours on the top lake with only a few timid takes, went down to bottom lake for the last hour and landed 4, lost 1 at the net and missed literally 20 takes all but 1 on emerger buzzers, Also took one on a fly that I had tied so got an extra buzz.
