All you anglers might have noticed that there is a thread about a 100lb cod and I was thinking either that it had not been recorded or it was a fake due to europes largest cod weighing in at 94lb and 15oz. What do you think?

dunno mate it was probably never officially recorded for a record. In my opinion most records ya see have probably been beaten at some time but never officially recorded cos the angler concerned couldnt be bothered with the hassle or maybees unaware it was a possible record.

for as long as i can remember, there was a picture on the wall in mcalls wet fish shop in blyth, long gone, am sure it was 106lb cod , caught in a trawlers net of blyth,av seen it lately in 1 of the yesteryear threads.

i'm guessing the 100lber your on about was the one caught on a trawler and not with regular fishing tackle thats why its not a record stevie

stevie you have a unique way of winding people up,go back to the older threads,alot of lads (including myself )having given you support on here,stop it with the haha,it comes over as to cocky,as said before think twice ask advice,use the forum as a tool,moderate the way you answer,the popcorn thing is a reference to the fact that i know you are going to wind somebody up sooner or later and the poo is going to hit the fan,think on lad,just a thought
