What Fishing goodies did everyone get?

Santa was good to me I got a new greys fly rod and reel and some greys apollo extreme clothes as well as a few other bits n bobs so I must have been a good lad:)

I never got any fishing goodies this year as there was nothing I really needed. Plenty of alcohol though, on top of what I bought myself it should see me through the holidays ok :eek: :eek: :D :D

I got a canny triple CD though. Loud, Proud & Heavy - The Best of Uriah Heep That should keep me going through my first bottle.

When we were in Turkey in August we made friends with a Dutch couple and one morning he brought us a couple of Dutch syrup Wafels to have with our coffee. They have them all the time over there. They make there coffee then lay the Waffel over the top of the cup to warm it up and eat it with the coffee, they are absolutely delicious. SWMBO ordered some from Holland as a surprise for me and they will be enjoyed over the next week or so too. If you have a sweet tooth you will love them, Stroopwafels they are called :p :p :D :D

Loads of places to buy them on the net too, I can see this becoming an addiction lol.

merry xmas every1 i got a penn 525 mag extra,it come with magnets and bearings are they spares or have i got to fit them? never had a reel like this before i usually use abu reels?? HELP??????
 
The waffles and drink sounds nice. I do waffles for the bairn and me, put the waffles under the grill for a minute or two then put jam on them followed by squirty cream now your talking yummmmmmmm;) just like the ones you buy on holidays:)

Other then that,boxed set of Yes Minister and Prime Minister DVDS,tankard,bags of mustard and Black Bullets

I used to buy the stroopwafells everytime I passed through Skipol airport, very addictive.

Sorry to do this to your waistline, but you can buy them in any Lidl store, £1.49 for a packet of 10.

Hi Burnzie and Merry Christmas mate. I was just looking on the net today and someone mentioned getting something similar at Lidl. Pleased to hear they are the same ones though that's a lot cheaper than buying them online mate, thank's for that.

Uriah Heep is my favourite band, I've been a fan of theirs since they released the album Very 'eavy Very 'umble in 1970 :o :o :D :D My son got the idea to get it from SWMBO, she knew I would be well 'appy with it.

I got hee haw :( Is that normal? Honest, not a sausage - a financial transaction conducted later in the week will ensure I come out on top - but nowt, not even a comedy christmas card from our kid telling me how fat I am :mad:

Had a great day really, me little mam was chuffed to bits with her dinner, me Nana was on form and I haven't fallen over and split my head like last year!

Nice quiet one for me got up and opened pressies with our lass one of mine was a century tt-r can't wait to play!! Then off to do the visiting at sisters see the niece(3) she was up a hieght as kids are the doctors set we got her went down well I got berkley digital scales and a greys smock.
Then off to her mothers for rest of day loads of food and drink n scored for a lewis's gift voucher so be spendin that tommorrow all in all canny day and santy was good to me:)
