all this rain how far do skippers have to travel

with all the rain we have had, and more to come, i heard on radio another month of it, how far do you boat owners/skippers have to travel ? before ya get decent water to fish in? and is it the worst yr for you so far regards not getting out?

By far its a bad year for wreather all these"s NE winds, and the rain does"nd help i"v had to travel bout 8 miles to reach clear water a long way when you have a full boat,

even longer,when ya boat only does so many knotts peter ..... lol

lately,weve been motoring a minimum of 5 miles,and theres been a wall of debris and mud around the 3 mile mark...ish.then perfectly clear at its edge,thats out of sunderland.
but if you can get away from the river mouths i wouldnt imagine it would be that far off.
