Stayed over at beckfoot on th solway yesterday got there about 7 in th morning and dug as much lug as we could so tht we could fish th afternoon tide in got our bait thn went back 2 th camp site as we waited 4 th tide 2 start flooding which did not take 2 long so we started fishing about 11o'clock and were straight into fish on our first casts
i got a bass about th pound mark which went back 2 fight another day and my mate got a nice flounder about th same stamp we did'nt really hav many more casts until top of th tide as th tide was flooding 2 quick behind us and it was a bit risky. Once th tide had stoped flooding we were still hiting th odd bass mostly th pound mark but did manage 1 about 2lb which we kept 4 th bbq. All in all a brilliant day not a great lot of fish but we shud of had a lot more as we missed a lot of bites but well hooked into th bass fishing
now as it was my first time. Is there any local marks around th roker to shields area as i'm looking 2 try spinning 4 them for th first time got a good spinning rod and reel loaded with braid just need 2 get a few lures etc any help would b much appreciated thanks?
