Fished alnmouth beach the weekend before last with 2 rods 1 with crab at distance with fresh crab the other with rag about 50yards, had 2 bass 1 was just size the other probs just short of 2 nd 1/2 lb. both fish caught on the rag.
Fished craster the weekend with fresh crab had 1 small codlin that was just about size and a small rockling was a bit of a nightmare in the lashing down tho so wasn't out long, so tried alnmouth beach the next day on me way home and managed to pull out a salmon that was just on top of the surf in about 6 inches of water haha
