No fishing today but had a run out with the family. Lovely beach and nice gullies in the sand. Speaking to a couple of lads fishing on beach had a few small flatties.

Lovely little place mate, went there for our honeymoon long weekend back over the valentines in 1992 (yes, saddo here got married valentines day!)... we had a real old fashioned oak beams-n-all room at the top of what used to be the Marine View Guest House, it's now a bunch of apartments afaik sadly. But lovely village and shoreline there.

Was up there a few weeks ago to dig bait in the harbour but nowt can see why the flattys like it there tho

was there on thurs, bleezing hot it was! fishing was slow though, unusual for almouth usually its a flatty a cast...managed one though and mate got two.

Yeah, great little place. Personally I love the schooner for a pint. Can anyone tell me where the best marks are up there, apart from the river and it's estuary?
