Always someone worse off

I opted for a few hours fishing yesterday afternoon on the river bank opposite the Stadium of Light.I was using mackerel and blacks bait. Lost a few traces by getting snagged up, zero fish and zero bites. Then the battery on my radio dead. I decided to head home thinking it was a pretty terrible day. Just as i made my way along the river home i saw something that made me realize there wasnt just me having a bad day.Someones dinghy floated down river past me and off towards the sea.

unlucky mate i fish by the stadium sometimes in the summer months had had good success with flounders ,coalies and the odd size codling on crab baits and isnt snaggy..that dingy wasnt a white thing was it seen one the other day near timber beach abandoned or came loose off someones mooring

i've been down there a few times this week and not got caught up once but on this occasion i was getting snagged pretty often. I think it was blue mate. Quite faded though.
