Ambition Achieved, First Codling

Gents I am no longer a stranger to the ways of the codling.
I fished Hebburn Marina today and was blessed with my first ever Cod.
A lad fishin next to me said it was about 2 and a half pound, when a got it home and weighed it it was 2 pound 3 0z before guttin. I also caught 3 quality whiting, 1 a kept ,and two the same stamp, i returned. Also had my first Flounder about 12" long (hoyed back).
