Amble fishing

Hi there,

Im off out tomorrow(friday) night for a few chucks. Has anyone caught or heard of out caught around the Amble area? What marks, bait etc? will be a great help!

Been pretty quiet up this way. Even with the good seas running people have struggled to catch. I've heard of the odd cod south of Amble with a few whiting. But no real decent bags.
I know the Alnwick club are struggling also. The promised 'brilliant cod fishing' we'd have this winter from the Sea angling press just don't seem to have materialised!
