34th Amble Open

Sunday 9th January 2011, fishing from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Entry fee is £12 all classes, this includes the heaviest fish sweep.

Heaviest bag 1st prize £600, 2nd £300, 3rd £150
Heaviest fish 1st prize £300, 2nd £200, 3rd £100

Heaviest flatfish 1st prize £150, 2nd £100, 3rd £50

Ladies (sponsored by Amble Angling Centre) 1st prize £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £20 as well as full entry to all senior prizes.

Juniors (sponsored by MKM building supplies) 1st prize £50, 2nd £30, 3rd £20 as well as full entry to all senior prizes.

plus approximately £4000 in supporting prizes.

Registration is at the Radcliffe Club, Amble, on the day from 7.30am.
Tickets will be available from local tackle shops in advance.

Weigh-in at the Radcliffe Club from 2.00pm to 3.00pm. NO WEIGH-IN ACCEPTED AFTER 3.00pm.

Boundaries are from the south pier at Seahouses to the pipe at Lynmouth, excluding Amble pier and foundations, all jetties in the river Coquet, and the river Aln.

Please be aware that Wrasse and Silver Eels are no longer eligible to be weighed-in, and the size limit for flounder is 27cm.

some serious prize money there :)also sounds like a well stocked table:):)now im thinking will i get the beach caster out:question: then i think:confused:am i doing this for the right reason:question: theres also an element of risk:exclam: like winning on first ever time of entering:D and being stoned to death in the square at amble:(:(
 
Take your pick north of Amble if you are wanting rock marks, Hadston and Warkworth for flats with a slim chance of a cod at Hadston. Hope you can make it

What Les says, but Bog Hall always seems to fish well on Open day too, and there's always the chance that the Salt Pans might hold a few fish.
