Amble pier last night

I had some bait left from unsuccesfully fishing the Amble open on sunday so I gave the pier a shot last night. I got down there and met a mate of mine and at least 8 others fishing! I slotted in between everyone, chucked out and started chatting when my tip light stated going ten to the dozen, not even 30 seconds after my bait had hit the water! That bite resulted in this-

Just under 5lb.

Thought I was in for a cracking couple of hours but it wasn't to be with only a small rockling after that!
